Luyang bus stand damaged and trees being cut // 被撞的路阳巴士站以及被砍伐的树木

新任路阳州议员邱庆洲和其团队在视察路阳区期间，发现一个濒临坍塌的巴士站。 该巴士站位于路阳第一期，既是在著名的路阳餐厅后面。

从种种的痕迹来看，该巴士站似乎是被路过的车辆或货车所撞击。 巴士站的顶棚已严重坍塌，这对每天在该处等候巴士的人士会构成危险。 亚庇市政厅应立即派人前来维修该破烂的巴士站，不可拖延。

During the rounds in the Luyang Constituency, the new Luyang Assemblyman Hiew King Cheu and his team spotted a near collapse bus stand in the Luyang Phase 1 which is behind the famous Luyang Restaurant.

The bus stand is believed to have been knocked by some passing-by vehicles or lorry. Its roof is in a bad shape and it posed danger to the people who are waiting for their buses every day here. The DBKK should send someone to come quickly rectify and to repair the bus stand before it hurts someone.

Appointment of Local Community Leaders // 委任地方领袖

首席部长公署和地政房屋部应该公平和适当的委任各地方领袖，尤其是在反对党所赢取的州选区。

N16路阳州议员邱庆洲呼吁国阵州政府，让反对党在其州选区委任和选择适合的领袖，如社区发展领袖（PKR），村长（Ketua Kampong） ，甲必丹，村庄乡保委员会（JKKK）等。如果不能的话，那么地方政府和房屋局应该进行选举的方式以委任该些职位。

The appointment of the various local community leaders by the Chief Minister Department or the Ministry of Local Government and Housing should be fair and appropriate to the state constituencies which are held by the opposition elected members of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly.

The newly elected State Assemblyman for Luyang Hiew King Cheu called upon the BN state government to allow the state opposition constituencies to have their own choice and selection of their local community leaders such as the Community Development leaders (PKR), Village Chief (Ketua Kampong), Chinese community Chief (Kapitan Cina), Villages security committee (JKKK) and so on. If not, there should be Local Government Election to be held to election people for the various posts.

Glamorous Grandma Contest is on / / 魅力祖母大赛

路阳州议员办事处将于五月二十九日举办一场“魅力祖母大赛”，并在同一时间庆祝的丰收节（Pesta Kemaatan）。

路阳州议员邱庆洲的特别助理兼筹委会主席李志强说，该项活动吸引了众多的支持，尤其是亚庇区。 其实该项活动在之前就已计划着，但由于大选而被延迟。 该活动是在布吉巴登公园皇子大剧院宴会厅举行，共有100桌，时间是6点半开始。 此外该活动也在为沙巴爱滋病援助协会（KASIH）筹款。 ‘魅力祖母大赛’的门票已经在销售中，请大家尽早购买。

The Luyang Assemblyman office will be organizing a “Glamorous Grandma Contest” on the 29^th of May, 2013, and at the same time to celebrate the Harvest Festival (Pesta Kemaatan).

The organizing chairman Andrew Lee Chee Kiong who is also the special assistant to the Luyang Assemblyman Hiew King Cheu said this event has attracted numerous supports from the community here in Kota Kinabalu City. This event was planned previously, but due to the general election this was postponed. The 100-tables dinner function will be held in the Bukit Padang Putra Theatre Restaurant starting from 6.30pm. This is also for the purpose to raise some fund for the Sabah Aids Support Services Association (KASIH). The ticket sale is already in progress, and please come to purchase your tickets as early as possible.

Voters declared dead in electoral // 选民册问题多多 发现被列为已经去世者。

一位选民邓先生向民主行动党N16路阳区候选人邱庆洲投诉，他非常愤怒因为他不单发现他的名字已从选民册被删除，同时根据选委会的记录，他被列为已经去世者。

他把从选委会打印出来的记录以及向警方报案的文件，交给邱氏。 他告诉邱氏，选委会拒绝恢复他的投票权，不能把他的名字重新登记在选民册里。 选委会说，他已不再是合格选民，因此不能在这次的大选中投票。 邓氏非常愤怒和极度不满，因为他已不能投票。 他告诉邱氏说，他一直都有参与投票，最后一次是在2008年，选委会不单拒绝他的要求，还干脆宣布他已去世。 这对华人来说是极度不吉利的事情，尤其是当他还是活生生的人，却被说是‘死者’

A voter Mr. Tien, who is still very much “alive” had approached the N16. Luyang candidate Hiew King Cheu in his campaign operation office here to spell out his anger concerning he is classified as “deceased” under the SPR electoral.

He produced the print-out from the SPR office and his police report to Hiew and he told Hiew that the SPR refused to reinstate his voting right by putting his name back on. SPR said he is no longer an illegible voter and cannot vote this round. He is very furious and felt very upset because the refusal of the SPR to allow him to exercise his right to vote, Tien said he has been voting during the past elections, while the SPR simply declared him to be a dead person. For the Chinese is bad luck if declared as a dead person while he is still alive.

Voter Registered to Vote in 3 Places // 有3个投票权选民

在过去的几天一直不断的发现选民册有问题， N16路阳行动党候选人邱庆洲被告知，在选民册中有可疑选民拥有相同的名字和出生日期，但是身份证号码后面的四个数字却不同，并可以在多个选区中的投票站进行投票。 有人进入选委会的官方网站彻查选民册，发现有位幽灵选民被注册在三个不同地点的投票站。为何选举委员会和国民登记局竟然可以允许这种情况发生。

此外另一起事件中，就是在4月30日所有警察和军人提前投票，然而所谓的不褪色墨汁被发现很容易洗脱的，到底是怎么回事？ 国阵竟然花费数百万令吉购买可以“洗的脱”的不褪色墨汁，这根本是浪费人民的钱。 为何不购买在穆斯林婚礼经常使用的“指甲花”染色剂呢？ 不单耐久，而且也便宜，或者只是需要购买五令吉的不褪色画笔。

There were further discrepancies found in the electoral rolls in the last few days. The N16 Luyang Candidate Hiew King Cheu was informed by a voter who has found out some dubious voters registered to vote in many constituencies using the same name with different IC numbers. When checking on the voter’s status in Pahang, it was found that this particular voter was registered to vote in three voting stations in the same state but in different constituencies. We do not understand how the Election Commission and National Registration Department have allowed this to happen. The latest was that the person was removed from the electoral.

BN has failed the Sabahans” series for GE 2013 // 大选文告系列之五 “国阵已让沙巴人彻底失望” – 粮食保障

此大选文告系列是由路阳候选人邱庆洲发出，旨在要告诉选民国阵已让沙巴人彻底失望。马来西亚让国阵连续执政超过50年。而沙巴州四届的政府都是由国阵的成员党执政。然而国阵联邦及州政府的无能管制之下，情况已是日况益下。 世界银行的报告指出沙巴从最富有的州属之一成为最贫穷的一州，这显示出国阵的无能。

This is a series of articles by the Luyang candidate, Hiew King Cheu, to point out why Barisan Nasional (BN) has failed the Sabahans. The people of Malaysia have given BN more than 50 years of continuous rule. In Sabah, there were four governments which were in one way or another aligned to BN that had resulted to Sabah from being one of the richest states to become one of the poorest states today as reported by the World Bank. What have gone wrong?

Case 5 – Sabah no Food Security

Countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, India, China, USA and Australia are very advance in their rice planting and production and they are exporting rice to the rest of the world for a long time now and the rice export is a major earner for their country.

Gerakan ignorance “that drains are also important” // 民政党不明白“水渠也很重要”

前首长慕沙阿曼的政治秘书，也是民政党的党员黄志强最近在报章上发表有关实邦加的情况，实际上他是不明白该处的真实情况。 身为反对党的前亚庇国会议员邱庆洲说，他将尽所能向人民指出许多国阵的失败和无能，因人民是有权知道实情。

In a recent statement, Jimmy Wong Chee Khiong of Gerakan, Political Secretary to the Ex-Chief Minister Musa Aman demonstrated his myopic views and ignorance of the real situation in Sepanggar. As opposition Member of Parliament, DAP Hiew King Cheu said he had done all he could to point out many weaknesses and failures of the BN government, and the people have the right to know.

Najib should give Sabah and Sarawak 20% oil royalty // 为了20％石油分享，沙砂国阵议员应过档民联

第13届大选终于结束了，重要的是国阵要遵守承诺，尤其是首相纳吉必须实现竞选承诺。

沙巴和砂捞越要求增加石油分享从目前的5％到20％，这也是民联给于人民的承诺。既然纳吉有承诺，就必须立即履行不可拖延。

邱氏说，如果47位东马国阵国会议员能联合起来，要求联邦给予东马20％的石油分享，这对所有的东马人民而言是项最好的礼物。 如果无法做到这一点，就应该脱离国阵，加入民联，因为民联可以肯定的让东马享有20%的石油分享，以及履行其诺言。

民联在沙巴和砂捞越赢得了9个国席，即是砂捞越六个，而沙巴三个。国阵赢得了其余的47个国议席，这意味着这47位国会议员是国阵的“恩人”，让国阵在第13届大选得以保留其政权。 国阵总共赢得了133个国席，而民联则赢得89个国席。 现在沙巴和砂捞越已无法获得民联在大选中所承诺的20％石油分享。 该47位国阵国会议员可能对5％的石油分享不会有异议，还是他们会为了要争取到20%的石油分享，而全部脱离国阵加入民联。 为了沙砂的人民，他们将会如何去决定呢？

The 13^th general election is finally over now, and it is important for the BN especially the PM Najib to fulfill his election pledges and promises.

The increment in the oil royalty from the present 5% sharing to 20% sharing is most welcome by the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak and this is the pledge of the Pakatan Rakyat.

In Sabah and Sarawak, Pakatan Rakyat won 9 Parliament seats and that is 6 from Sarawak and 3 from Sabah. The BN won the rest of the 47 Parliament seat, and that means they are the “live savior” for the BN to retain power in the 13^th general election with BN won a total of 133 seats, and PR won 89 seats. Now it looks like that Sabah and Sarawak will not get the pledged 20% oil royalty by PR. Will the 47 BN MPs stay on and be happy with the 5%, or fight back by leaving BN to join the PR to secure the guaranteed 20% oil royalty? It is their choice.

The N16 Luyang Assemblyman Hiew King Cheu said the MPs of BN in East Malaysia should make sure the PM Najib to give us the 20% because the people had given BN the mandate, and do not “Play Play” with them because the people including all the elected representatives will fight back. It is very easy to topple the BN if we stand together in order to get back what is lost on our precious oil revenue for almost 4 decades ago. The duty of the elected reps is to do their best for the people no matter what, and this is a golden chance to demonstrate their ability to serve the people.

Hiew said if the 47 BN MPs can stand up and demand for 20% oil royalty to be given to the East Malaysian states, and this will be the best for all of us. If this is not done by the PM, it is better for them to resign from BN and to join force with PR who will definitely deliver and fulfill this promise.

Voters name missing from SPR electoral // 选民名字被删掉

许多以前投过多次票的选民说，他们发现他们的名字在选民册里已消失了，也找不到任何记录！

这无疑是项阴谋，旨在要破坏民联获胜的机会，以避免国阵被推翻。 选民册里的名字是不可能在一夜之间消失的，这无疑是要删除支持民联选民的奸诈手法。这次肮脏的竞选战术显示出国阵是担心在第13届大选会失去执政权，因此，他们必须要利用任何手段以确保他们能够获胜。

There are many cases reported that voters who had voted many times found their names disappeared from the SPR electoral list and saying that no record is found!

We find this as a plot to sabotage the winning chance of the Pakatan Rakyat to topple the Barisan Nasional (BN).   It is highly impossible that names can disappear over night, and is it a foul play to remove the names of those who supported PR one way or another. The dirty tactic shows that the BN is worried about losing the power after the 13^th general election, thus they have to do what ever they can to ensure their win.

Ceramah Perdana Ini Kali Lah // ‘就是现在’露天演说会

民联候选人将于五月一日(星期三)在路阳和生园大停车场举办一场‘就是现在’的露天演说会。 而第二场的露天演说会是于5月3日(星期五)在达迈民众会堂旁的停车场举办。 该两场演说会都是晚上7点30分开始至晚上11点。

Pakatan Rakyat will hold its open air Grand Ceramah in the Foh Sang Car Park on the 1^st of May, 2013, Wednesday. The second will be in the Dewan Serbaguna Damai open air car park (near QE2) on the 3^rd of May, Friday. The events will start from 7.30pm to 11pm.

了解联邦与沙巴宪法 // Interpretation of the Federal and Sabah State Constitutions on PM and CM

The DAP N16 Luyang candidate Hiew King Cheu, who is also the DAP Sabah State Advisor Hiew King Cheu said that it is necessary to clarify on SAPP Yong Teck Lee’s statement because what he said on the position of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister are misleading. The Federal and State Constitutions are very clear on the appointments of the Malaysian Prime Minister and Sabah Chief Minister as follows:

Case 4 – Poor Road Network

Sabah regions are connected by a poor network of roads. In 2005, 61% of all roads were still gravel and earth roads. The central sub-region is separated by the Crocker range and this forms a natural barrier to better road connectivity between the eastern and western sub-regions, and the interior districts are having the worst roads.

Why SAPP picked on DAP and not BN // 为何进步党偏偏针对民主行动党而不是国阵

沙巴民主行动党路阳候选人兼州顾问邱庆洲今天表示，他和党员们都非常困惑为何进步党不断的攻击沙民主行动党领袖，而不是抢头向着国阵。 同时也让选民感到困惑，为何国阵对进步党如此沉默，他们似乎是‘兄弟帮’之类有着密切关系，这是完全无法理解的。可能是国阵和进步党仍然有暗中保持联络。 这听起来很像纳吉所说的“我帮你 - 你帮我”！

The DAP Luyang candidate cum DAP Sabah State Advisor Hiew King Cheu said today that he and his comrades are very puzzled over why SAPP especially its leaders kept on hammering on the DAP Sabah leaders and not the Barisan Nasional people. It is totally not understandable that the BN people are so silent over the SAPP, as if they are having “Abang Adik” sort of close relation and ties. May be the BN and SAPP are still “closely connected”. This sounds more like “I help you – You help me”!
