Chinese New Year Message to all “Best and cleanest polls for Sabah” //

This Chinese New Year 2013 will be a year where Malaysian shall see some big changes in the political outlook, and there are good signs that the “Year of the Golden Snake” will bring everyone good luck and prosperities, especially in Sabah. The festive season mood has been greatly reduced, and instead of focusing on celebrating CNY, everyone’s common concern is over the 13th general election and on its outcome results.

The key issue is now, who is asking the Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof about the “Best and cleanest polls for Sabah”? In the first place, he should not be commenting and jumping the gun at all? He was saying that the RCI has not yet completed its tasks and no one should be making any comments or judgment at all. Why is he saying that the country presently has the cleanest electoral roll because the EC is tidying it up on a daily basis”?

If the EC is tidying up the electoral on a daily basis, the electoral roll is not yet the cleanest electoral roll because it is not yet the final electoral roll. Who is he trying to fool the people when the RCI has not completed its work as yet, and the issues of phantom voters are not yet incorporated (discussed, sorted out and finalized) in the electoral roll? In fact, he should be fair and let the RCI finish and finalize their work. He should be quiet and do his own work under his power and jurisdiction, that is, to remove the names of people who are dead, have migrated, using dubious identities, etc and then wait for the results of the RCI. These public comments will not do him any good.

How can he say that the present electoral roll the EC has containing 13.3 million voters up until December last year is a “clean roll”? There are still many questionable people are listed and registered with the EC using identification documents already authenticated by the NRD.

When he says that the “13th general election will not be the dirtiest”, does he indirectly imply that the past general elections had been dirtier and tainted with phantom voters? Is that why he is now in the process of cleaning up the electoral roll even without the results of the RCI? So, in line with, the submissions of evidences by several senior government officers during the RCI hearings, there are many phantom voters that were listed in the past electoral rolls that had in one way or another affected the results of the past elections.

What does the EC chairman mean when he said that the 13th general election may be the most challenging one, but not the dirtiest? Is it going to be still dirty, but not the dirtiest because everyone is watching every move? When he said “challenging”, does he mean that it is going to be very challenging to be still dirty but not the dirtiest?

This is totally undemocratic and against principle of human rights. Malaysians must reject unfair practices, corruption, conspiracy, treason, sedition and all acts of fraud, falsification and cheating to stay in power. If all these acts have been combined for the politicians to win election, the result would be a government which will manage and administer without any consideration to the goodwill of the people and the result is that the country will rot and gradually decay.

Such heinous acts must not be tolerated by the people at large. The people must do everything in their power to bring down this atrocious regime by coming out to vote. By and large, the electoral roll must be totally cleaned up first. The EC must take into full consideration all the complaints filed by every party on the electoral roll and every discrepancy must be corrected immediately.

It is alright to have some local election observers but it would be better to also have foreign observers to ensure that we have a fair election. The BN government must be fair and not be obsessed with greed and do everything to hold on to power. We must have a fair and equitable 13th general election that who should administrate and manage the country.

Ini Kali Lah!
